Create & execute test strategies, test plans, test cases.
Perform functional and non-functional report testing with defect tracking.
Actively participate in team meetings to understand Business, Functional and Technical requirements, and adapt/align test efforts with rapidly changing requirements.
Collaborate with delivery team members to improve development processes.
Participate in technical design reviews to develop test strategy and to make sure that all user requirements are covered by the QA testing.
Work closely with development & business teams to perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of defects.
Documentation of Testcases, test plans, and regression testing.
QA Analyst with SSRS testing experience Is mandatory.
7 + years of overall QA experience.
3- 5 years’ experience in testing SSRS Reports, Power BI and ETL Testing required.
Working knowledge of the testing methodologies and the quality processes with expertise in analyzing business and technical requirements, developing, and executing test plans / test cases, analyzing test results, defects reporting / tracking and providing regular status reports.
Must have excellent understanding of SDLC (Agile, Waterfall), STLC, defect life cycle and test management.
Must have the ability to understand the data flow through systems (end-to-end)
Must be able to write complex data validation SQL scripts.
Experience with data migration & verification against backend systems
Have good analytical and verbal communication skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with interpersonal skills are required
Possess a good understanding of data models, data flows, stored procedures, and functions.
Excellent test case documentation, execution and trouble shooting skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to adapt and respond positively to ever-changing priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skill; ability to work well across teams
Strong analytical skills - understand business processes and issues from business users
Self-starter and should be able to complete tasks with a minimal level of supervision.
Working knowledge of JIRA, TFS, GIT, Azure DevOps a plus
