As a successful candidate you will get an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where your responsibilities range from production support to project implementation efforts in Quality Assurance (QA).
You will support multiple business groups and/or applications, so you may also be asked to learn and support other applications. This is an Internship position. You’ll collaborate tightly with a highly talented & committed QA and application/s teams, including systems analysts. You are an independent thinker, comfortable with sharing and accepting ideas in an open manner - and you expect the same to be reciprocated. You must possess solid written and verbal communication skills and have an aptitude for thriving in complex situations. Lastly, you should enjoy working in a fast-paced, self-directed, diverse and customer service-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and understand system or business requirements
Design and Execute Manual test cases in Excel
Create and document browser testing procedures
Identify and create methods to convert manual testing into automated, repeatable tests using Selenium (JAVA)
Performance test of web applications using JMETER
Defect Management in JIRA Application
Report daily projects QA Status to Lead or Manager
Required Qualifications:
B.E. or B.Tech. final year in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent area of study.
Excellent Academic Standing
Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC)
Good understanding of manual and automated testing
Excellent analytical, logical, troubleshooting and quantitative reasoning skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid Programing knowledge (JAVA, Python, VB .Net, SQL etc.,)
Familiarity with the Agile process will be a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player, able to succeed in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements.
