Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior QA engineers to assist in test planning activities, including identifying test objectives and designing test cases.
Execute test cases, document test results, and report defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or other automation frameworks.
Log and track defects, work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution, and perform regression testing.
Create and manage test data required for testing activities.
Assist in performance testing activities, including load testing and identifying performance bottlenecks.
Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
Continuously learn and stay updated on automation testing best practices and emerging technologies.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers.
Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
Mandatory Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
3 to 6 months of experience in manual testing, including test case design and execution.
Familiarity with operating systems, web browsers, and common software tools.
Basic knowledge of defect tracking and test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities.
