We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Lead with 9-12 years of industry experience to lead our software testing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with primary expertise in Selenium, Python, Appium, TypeScript, and Webdriver.io. In addition, experience with REST API and GraphQL testing is preferred. Proficiency in working with databases such as Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server, and MySQL is also desired.
Responsibilities:
·Lead a team of QA Automation Engineers and provide technical guidance in test automation practices, tools, and frameworks.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into comprehensive and effective test strategies and test plans.
·Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Python, Appium, TypeScript, and Webdriver.io.
·Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
·Create and execute test cases for REST API and GraphQL services, verifying their functionality, performance, and integration.
·Mentor team members in test automation best practices and provide training and guidance as required.
·Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
·Conduct database testing using Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server, and MySQL, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
·Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
·Stay updated with industry trends, new tools, and technologies related to test automation and incorporate them into the team's practices.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
·Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with 9-12 years of hands-on experience.
·Strong expertise in Selenium, Python, Appium, TypeScript, and Webdriver.io for web and mobile application testing.
·Solid understanding of testing REST API and GraphQL services, including knowledge of tools like Postman or GraphQL Playground.
·Experience working with databases such as Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server, and MySQL, including writing and executing SQL queries.
·Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead a team of QA Automation Engineers.
·Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in fast-paced development environments.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
·Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
·Experience with additional automation testing tools and frameworks.
·Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
·Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
·Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
·Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
·Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
