Key Responsibilities:
- Define Testing strategy, Automation stragety, Automation framework and Participate in Design and Architecture Meeting.
- Design & build test harnesses for Automation Testing
- Develop the new test automation libraries
- Lead the QA team for a product and guide them
- Test Environment set-up/management, monitoring and streamline release management to QA Environments.
- Design & execute Regression Test Pack using frontend & backend test scripts
- Automate the Test Data Management using Automation tools
- Design and Develop the Automated solution for Sanity Testing for various repeatable tests.
- Design and Develop the Automated solution for Regression Testing.
- Implement QA process and Automated testing for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle.
- Participate in the development and support of the testing program aimed at supporting multiple testing efforts simultaneously.
- Utilize appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality Assurance
- Build and configure new interfaces to support testing activities
- Participate in testing, deployment prep and actual deployment
- Conduct small training session for QA fraternity on specific topics.
Requirements:
• Technical Skills
- Hands on experience in performing QA activities for large scale web, mobile, IoT applications on cloud.
- Hands own knowledge of Test Automation using different framework and tool
- Experience using Selenium, Cucumber, Specflow, Appium, QMetry, Postman, etc
- Sound Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban),
- Good knowledge of various testing methodologies Internal
- Strong experience in managing automation test projects
- Built automation framework from scratch to aid with regression and other repeatable tests
- Experience in using and managing Test Management Tools like Zephyr, Xray TestFLO etc
- Experience in defining and implementing various QA KPIs like defect density, defect leakage, Test coverage etc
- Experience in leading small teams
- Good experience in CI, CT and CD topics along with tools like Git, Jenkins etc - Experience using AWS.
• Other skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs
- Experience of agile software development methodologies - Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Great team player and ability to work in a highly international team
- Willingness to sometimes travel nationally and internationally to various Continental R&D centers and external development partner locations
- Willingness to learn new things
- Experience working in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins etc
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
Experience
- Overall 10+ yrs of experience in IT Industry
- 6+ years in QA Automation of Web, mobile, IoT applications on cloud
- 5+ years in working in product development teams
- 5+ years in various tools like Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, QMetry etc - 3+ years in using tools like Git, Jenkins,
- 2+ years in AWS - Experience in working with vendor partners
