Responsible for quality engineering activities such as functional testing, integration testing, smoke testing, automation script development, automation suite execution. Manage and Lead QA team members.
Key Skills: Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber, Postman, SQL, UI and API Testing
Design automated test scripts that are reusable using Selenium and Cucumber framework etc.
Ensure that all automated testing related activities are carried out as per the standards defined by the company.
Perform Software testing which includes Web Application Testing and API Testing
Perform Web Application functional & System testing and Database Testing.
Updating JIRA and other test management/defect management tools
Respond to all requests from team members in a timely and professional manner.
Manage team and client communication independently.
Responsibilities
• The ideal candidate will have strong Automation experience with Java, Selenium and Cucumber framework etc.
• Should have written code as Automated tests in a framework such as Selenium, Unit tests or Coded UI Tests.
• Good understanding and experience of Java and OOPs Concepts.
• Writing and executing test scenarios, test cases using Selenium test automation tool.
• Reporting test results and defects
• Providing additional information for defects to development teams
• Good understanding of RESTful API
• Hands on experience in writing database Queries using Oracle, SQL, MySQL and Mongo DB database.Good to have:
• Knowledge on multiple defect management and defect tracking tools
• Good understanding on defect cycle
Education & Certifications: B.Tech/M.Tech/MSc (CS)/MCA
