As a Software QA Lead, you will:
Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of QA engineers.
Develop, implement, and improve QA strategies, methodologies, and procedures for both manual and automation testing.
Define and enforce QA standards to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Oversee functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including software development, product management, UI/UX design, documentation, and customer success, to plan product releases and allocate resources.
Communicate QA status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
Promote and drive test automation initiatives to improve efficiency and test coverage.
Be responsible for signing off on product releases and ensure bug-free and timely delivery.
Serve as the initial point of contact for all issues and customer escalations reported from the field.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in CS/CE/IT/EE/E&TC or a related field.
8+ years of experience in manual and automation testing, with at least 4 years of automation experience.
Solid understanding of software testing concepts.
Hands-on experience in building and deploying an automation framework and automating test cases.
Proficient in Selenium and Python (preferred) or Java, and testing frameworks such as Pytest.
Strong understanding of web technologies and related testing methodologies.
Passion for good user experience and delivering a flawless product.
Excellent analytical, communication (verbal and written English), and leadership skills, including prior experience in mentoring or leading teams.
Good team player with a go-getter attitude and ability to get work done from team members.
