We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA efforts for our software products. You will be responsible for developing the overall QA strategy, mentoring the team, and implementing best practices.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for new features and bug fixes covering various levels - unit, integration, system, regression, etc.
Lead the adoption of BDD, TDD, and other testing methodologies. Guide the team on techniques like behavior-driven and test-driven development.
Implement automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber. Experience with writing and maintaining test automation scripts.
Perform security, performance, and load/stress testing using relevant tools and techniques.
Drive CI/CD best practices by integrating QA into DevOps release pipelines.
Perform root cause analysis for defects and identify process improvements.
Coach and mentor junior QA team members. Support their learning and development.
Review user stories, requirements, and specifications to ensure test coverage.
Track quality metrics like defect leakage, open bugs, test execution status, etc. Prepare reports for management.
Requirements:
7+ years of overall experience in software QA with a mix of manual and automation skills.
Hands-on experience with both web and mobile application testing.
Strong programming experience with languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.
Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and REST APIs.
Working knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, etc.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
