Job Description

Core Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee QA team through effective management of team member needs, training, team building, performance evaluation and management of individual goals and objectives.
Introduce innovative and creative improvements to the QA testing services functional area.
Work with the QA automated test manager providing guidance, monitor and contribute towards functional regression test automation and test automation suite maintenance
Define and manage the appropriate test approach and strategy against technology deliverables [waterfall and agile delivery SDLC models].
Ensure team should adhere to upkeeping organization’s defined Quality Assurance level testing policies and procedures.
Lead by example, provide a positive role model and understand when required the functionality to undergo function regression and or end to end testing and guide the team, Support team throughout testing lifecycles, test deliverables and meeting project millstones.
Conduct reviews throughout the test project lifecycles, identify any artefacts that are not fitting into quality assurance test framework in place, guide team bridging gaps identified
Manage the maintenance, coverage and improvement of the regression test suits, both manual and automated.
Manage the logging and tracking of defects to ensure quality testing is taking place in a timely manner.
Provide effective communication to all stakeholders to support test support activities delivery.
Ensure team’s daily work is managed and prioritized and that all project commitments are met.
Maintain a high degree of knowledge on current technologies, tools and software test methodologies.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across Equiniti delivery teams.
Adhere to all Regulatory, Security and Compliance requirements.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience skills and behaviours:
15+ years of related QA testing experience.
5+ Experience in managing and leading a QA testing team size of 20 + members.
Experience of waterfall & agile methodologies
Multi-tasking ability across multiple project deliverables.
Experience in use of defect management tools.
Preferred tool [s] expertise – Test Complete+ ReadyAPI + Bitbar or equivalent industry leading tools combinations
Experience of cross browser/device and accessibility testing.
Understanding of automation frameworks and workflows.
Experience in the financial sector preferred.
Excellent communication and distributed management skills.
Ability to work calmly and methodically when under pressure.
Innovative mindset.

Required:
Education - Master’s in computer sciences, Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent or bachelor's degree with 10+ years QA manager role experience
SQL
Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
Hand on experience developing Functional / Regression / Performance / Load testing test design
Hands on experience developing automated functional regression test scripts using industry leading test automation tool or combination of automation tools.
Hands on experience developing end to end automated testcase coving business process
APIs test development and execution
Foundation level knowledge in Computer Networking & Servers
Excellent communication, problem solving and people management skills.
