We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Manager to lead and drive the automation testing initiatives within our organization. As the QA Automation Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automated testing frameworks to ensure the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities:
Automation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with the organization's testing goals and software development lifecycle.
Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks to facilitate efficient and effective automated testing.
Tool Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate automation tools and technologies to enhance testing capabilities and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of automation engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve testing objectives.
Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, identify automation opportunities, and ensure test coverage across various application components.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA automation process, incorporating feedback loops and optimizing testing workflows.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of software quality by establishing and enforcing quality assurance best practices and standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with development and quality assurance teams to integrate automated testing seamlessly into the overall development process.
Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for automation testing and provide regular reports to stakeholders on test coverage, defects, and overall test effectiveness.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a QA Automation Manager or similar role.
Strong expertise in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or others commonly used in automation.
In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools and technologies.
