Total Experience: 10 to 12 Years
Must Have Skills:
Ability to understand Requirements and translate them into test cases and test SQL scripts
Ability to debug the differences and document the issues identified
Experience in DWH/Database Testing
Proficiency with SQL language
Knowledge of Datawarehouse principles is essential
Good to Have Skills:
Familiarity with Cloud technologies & JIRA
Experience with testing SOAP / API projects
Key Responsibilities
Define scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing
Write test plans, design test cases, develop test SQL scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results
Work on DWH / Database testing
Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Create large volumes of test data if required
Track and reports defect using appropriate tools such as JIRA
Validate fixes and ensure follow through to all test cycles
Investigate and recommend remediation strategies for data quality conditions, and process failures
Communicate test status to internal project team and clients(s)
Develop and contribute best practices and standards for a solution or across multiple medium/large scale projects/accounts
Mentoring a team of 2 to 3 QA Associates
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
