As a QA Manager, you will
Lead, manage and mentor a team of QA engineers and be accountable for test deliverables within the team.
Initiate, suggest and contribute to best practices and improvements in quality and testing.
Build upon and lead quality initiatives that reduce cycle time and increase quality.
Champion and implement shift left strategies and identify opportunities to test early and often.
Be an advocate for building quality from the start (not just testing it).
Actively look at ways to streamline and accelerate testing through the use of test automation and re-use.
Serve as a technical authority in both functional and non-functional testing.
Make use of feedback loops such as logs, dashboards, build stats etc to observe quality and take actions to improve outcomes
