Resposibilities:
Understand requirements and scope of a project
Identify inconsistencies and gaps in requirements and communicate with Product Owner
Maintain knowledge of the architecture of the platform and product features
Maintain complete functional knowledge of the product
Create and execute manual test cases
Identify and execute regression tests, integration tests
Identify and execute tests for backward compatibility
Perform exploratory testing and identify potential defects and usability issues
Log defects and co-ordinate with developers to resolve them
Provide end-user perspective for features and components under test with emphasis on user experience
Work closely with other teams for cross functional requirements and collaboration
Identify and implement QA processes in support of providing quality products.
Educate new hires and team members on application, tools, technologies, processes
Follow community best practices and team SDLC guidelines
Qualifications:
3-5 years of manual QA experience
MS/BS in Software Engineering or related discipline
Strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) concepts and practices to continually assess the risks and quality of products and releases.
Experience in manual testing methodologies, test plan development, and test case creation
Strong knowledge of software testing techniques and best practices
Testing Experience with Web-application/Cross browser
Knowledge of the latest UI technologies and trends (Which Latest UI Technology)
Experience working with Cloud-based applications is nice to have
Experience working in onshore-offshore model
Familiarity working in Agile-Scrum environment and software production release process
