Responsibilities:
As a techno functional Test Engineer, you will be responsible for Designing & Execution of Test cases based on requirement usecases and automate them.
Work in an Agile team set up. Actively collaborate with Dev, AD & PO & UAT teams to ensure successful and on time project deliveries.
Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
Identify the bugs and track it till closure
Implement strong control and checks on Jiras/code Releasing to UAT & Prod
Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
Mandatory Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
4-6 years of strong experience of test automation using Java, Spring, Selenium, Cucumber, shell scripting.
Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter / Blazemeter
3+ years applied experience and spanning across Automation & Functional Testing using BDD/TDD.
Working Knowledge of Best practices in design, develop and implementation of End to End Test Automation
SME in Test Automation and Performance Engineering framework.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, CI/CD.
Strong experience in designing and developing test automation framework, test scripts and tools
Hands-on knowledge of tools like GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, confluence, various monitoring/alerting tools.
Excellent analytical skills. Strong attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
Good understanding of applications with Web services based implementation – REST and SOAP based
Good to have knowledge of UI Manual testing
Test data management using SQLs
Knowledge of Cloud Services/Technologies – AWS
Data set up and conditioniong is a plus
API testing is plus
