Ability to design a test approach
Expertise in the functional test planning, Preparation and execution of test scripts
Prepare test cases for both functional and interface testing across Agile projects ensuring one hundred percent test coverage
Timely execution of test cases to ensure that the developed application satisfy the requirements.
Raise quality issues to ensure minimum defect leakage and track it till closure
Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software test life cycle
Thoroughly understand the existing products, proposes technical solutions. Strive to optimize the engineering by applying multiple techniques
Be flexible and work in a completely dynamic & agile environment
Evaluation of new technologies, adaptation to ZF development environments and transfer to product development
Be a persistent, creative problem solver, good team player
Collaborate with team to brainstorm and create new and improve the products
Qualifications:
Experience in working with Agile and Scrum teams
Must have experience in automation tools and frameworks.
Extensive experience in Web Applications Testing and Database Testing
Experience in Web API testing using Soap UI (Groovy scripting) / Postman is required
Should have basic knowledge on Scripting languages and SQL queries
Experience in using test management and bug tracking tools (Example: Test Rail, Azure test plans, JIRA etc.)
Implementing Automation testing using Selenium, Java and other tools.
Web & Web service / REST service Testing (Soap UI using groovy / Postman)
Should have Automation testing of services
Familiarity with open-source technologies
Knowledge of and/or experience in the automotive engineering industry is a plus
Good to have experience of developing and enhancing Automation frameworks.
Good to have the performance testing experience
Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Education & Experience:
3 to 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing
B.Tech, or M.Tech in computer science, or related fields; or equivalent
Web Application Testing, Database Testing, API Testing, Automation Testing, Selenium, TestRail, Postman
