Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables, Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan
Write, document, and maintain automated testing solutions and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts,
Execute and evaluate manual test cases and report test results
Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements, Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
Essential Skills
The candidate should currently be on a career break, and a minimum duration of 1 year for the career break is mandatory
4 years of hands-on QA Manual testing experience in a web and/or mobile environment, while adhering to Agile methodologies
Ability to research, document, and present solutions
Implement testing framework from start to finish
Proficient in Load/Performance testing with JMeter or any other Load testing tools
Proficient writing automated test scripts for functional testing using Selenium (Javascript preferred)- Not Mandatory skill
Proficient with maintaining test automation frameworks and tools - Not Mandatory skill
Proficient in utilizing Page Objects in the automated testing solution - Not Mandatory skill
Experience in API testing,
Writing clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases (JIRA is a plus), Liaison with development, project management, and customer support
Experience using source control
