Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements, design effective test strategies, and contribute to the overall development life cycle.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to identify software defects and ensure optimal functionality.
Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Investigate and troubleshoot issues, working closely with developers to isolate problems, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to timely resolutions.
Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in SaaS development to bring innovative solutions to the team.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and testing results, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Actively engage in knowledge-sharing sessions and mentorship opportunities within the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
Your experience
3+ years relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role, demonstrating a track record of ensuring the quality and reliability of complex SaaS applications.
Strong expertise in testing methodologies, test case development, and execution, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce testing, understanding the nuances and intricacies of testing within the Salesforce environment.
Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent, to automate and streamline testing processes.
Solid understanding of agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate testing strategies, report findings, and collaborate within the team.
