We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software testing and automation, a solid understanding of Python, and a basic understanding of C++, Django, Flask, and DevOps.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications. Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies based on project goals and timelines.
Test Execution: Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications by running and testing them in real-world scenarios. Conduct regression testing to identify and address software defects.
Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and other relevant tools. Implement test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to ensure software scalability and responsiveness. Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
Video Analytics Testing: Work closely with the development team to test video analytics features. Validate the accuracy and efficiency of video analytics algorithms by simulating real-life situations.
Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate test results and coordinate issue resolution. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Ensure continuous testing and monitoring in the deployment pipeline.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports. Provide clear and concise reports on the status of testing activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience of 3+ years as a QA Engineer in a software development environment.
Solid understanding of Python, basic understanding of C++, Django, Flask, and DevOps.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, is a plus.
Knowledge of Video Analytics software would be advantageous.
