About the role:
Your primary responsibility will be to run various tests from the test suite on new software releases to ensure that it satisfies all specifications and requirements as well as free from any bugs.
Once issues have been resolved, You will run additional tests to make sure the issues are resolved before the new release is pushed to production.
Thoroughly testing new releases to find bugs or design issues.
Identifying bugs in new releases and understanding how to resolve them
Creating issues for these bugs and with steps on how to re-produce them.
Ensuring that new software products are ready for consumer use
Working with development teams to prevent issues with new products
Skills:- Software Testing (QA), Test Planning and Mobile App Testing (QA), Black Box Testing
Requirements:
2 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide feedback
Strong working experience in functional UI and API testing using POSTMAN.
Should be able to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of assigned applications.
Communicate verbally and in writing with team members and management on product issues
Defect tracking and management using JIRA.
Demonstrate ability to learn and train others in the product area, QA tools, and general QA functions
Automation Testing knowledge and experience are good to have. Role will gradually grow from Manual to a full stack QA (Manual + Automation).
