In this role, you will:
Own and deliver small or medium-sized quality engineering tasks while mentoring and helping team members
Make technology choices at individual level and analyze impact
Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
Integrate project testing with continuous-integration process
Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions
Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project
Develop and executes maintainable automation tests for Black box, acceptance, functional, and regression test cases
You will ensure the quality of software by planning, execution and following up verification activities.
You will plan for improvements to the product quality, verification and validation activities
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Minimum 4 years of Experience in manual and automated testing (also in agile environment)
Technical Requirements:
Minimum two years of experience in test automation
Experience with issue-tracking and agile project management systems such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, etc.
Working experience with at least one auto test tool (e.g., Selenium)
Working Experience in Manual Black Box testing, Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational/Performance Qualification (OQ/PQ), Regression Testing, writing, and executing Test cases.
Extensive experience in Quality documentation.
Has experience in testing web services
Working Knowledge with HP QC/ Micro Focus ALM.
Extensive experience in debugging and troubleshooting
Ability and willingness to document progress and results
Desired Skills
Experience in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) (Good to Have)
Experience in Healthcare/Pharma Industry (Good to Have)
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
