As a Quality Assurance Engineer for the Office of Risk Management (ORM), you will be responsible for ensuring that software meets requirements and is ready for field use, by executing software test plans and performing exploratory testing. Essential Duties:
Perform various types of application testing such as manual and regression using testing tools through comprehensive test scenarios.
Develop test cases to ensure software meets development, usability, functional, and security standards and additionally meets defined requirements for the software.
Examine and document all testing results and assist in identifying reasons for why actual results do not match expected testing results.
Maintain Azure DevOps to ensure all requirements, tests and defects are up-to-date regarding specific application needs.
Attend Project/Team meetings and contribute feedback based on testing results and status on project deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field or relevant, equivalent experience (required)
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
High level of attention to detail. (required)
Good written and verbal communication skills. (required)
Understanding of Quality Assurance processes for software application testing. (required)
Knowledge of designated testing tool suite such as Azure DevOps. (required)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. (required)
Basic SQL knowledge. (preferred)
Understanding of basic Accounting or Business processes. (preferred)
EXPERIENCE
Experience with Agile Methodologies (required)
2 to 5 years of QA experience or related work experience (required)
Experience testing APIs. (preferred)
Experience with Software Test Automation. (preferred)
Experience with Selenium or similar tools. (preferred)
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
Well organized and disciplined in following process. (required)
Works well both independently and in a team environment. (required)
