We at InnoWave are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our software products. You will collaborate closely with the development team to design and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and document defects, and verify software functionality. Your responsibilities will encompass both manual and automated testing, with a focus on delivering reliable, high-quality software. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, maintain testing documentation, and collaborate cross-functionally to uphold quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans in collaboration with the development team
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing process
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software products
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
• Maintain testing documentation including test cases, test scripts, and test reports
• Collaborate cross-functionally to uphold quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6-8 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Junit, TestNG, or similar frameworks
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or JavaScript
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, SOAP, and REST
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with database testing
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
• Familiarity with mobile testing tools such as Appium or native mobile testing frameworks
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proficiency in defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar platforms
