An experienced Quality Assurance Engineer specialized in API testing using Postman. As a QA Engineer focusing on APIs, you'll play a key role in ensuring our software products meet quality standards for reliability, functionality, and performance through comprehensive API testing methodologies.
Responsibilities:
API Testing Expertise (Postman):
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases specifically tailored for API testing within the Postman environment.
Validate API endpoints, ensuring accurate responses and adherence to specifications using Postman's features and functionalities.
Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing exclusively in the context of APIs.
Test Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create detailed test strategies specifically focused on API testing using Postman.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of QA processes and best practices, particularly in API testing methodologies.
Defect Management:
Identify, document, and track software defects using established tools and workflows, primarily within the context of API testing scenarios.
Reporting and Documentation:
Generate comprehensive test reports and documentation that outline test results, including defects and their resolutions, within the framework of API testing conducted using Postman.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry best practices and tools specifically related to API testing, particularly within the Postman ecosystem.
Propose and implement improvements to testing processes aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in API testing methodologies.
Requirements:
Proven experience in API testing with a strong knowledge on using Postman for test execution, validation, and reporting.
Proficiency in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for API testing.

Knowledge of agile methodologies for streamlined project management and collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) for API testing automation.
Experience using Git Bash or similar command-line interfaces for updating the scripts.
