In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
To drive a cultural shift towards quality ownership and accountability across cross-functional teams.
To implement Test Driven Development (TDD) principles, ensuring that tests are designed and performed before the development of code.
To implement a "shift-left" approach, emphasizing the early involvement of QA in the development process to identify and address issues at the inception stage.
To drive the adoption of Emerson’s standard test automation tool (Tosca).
To develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for microservices, focusing on input and output testing to ensure seamless communication and functionality.
To establish and monitor key metrics to evaluate the efficiency of quality assurance practices, using data-driven insights to guide continuous improvement.
To promote skill development and knowledge sharing, ensuring that the team stays abreast of industry trends and new technologies.
For This Role, You Will Need:
BE/Btech/in Information Systems or related area plus 10-15 years related experience.Strong ability as a change agent in transforming QA practices within a software development environment.
In-depth knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD), shifting left methodologies, and microservices testing.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams through cultural and procedural changes.
Experience with metrics-driven quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with industry-leading practices from companies such as Microsoft, Google, Netflix, Amazon, and Atlassian.
