Job Description

Lead Test planning & execution efforts for all components

Able to lead to test, implement new systems and test the impact on workflow, new procedures, and controls.

Spot Peer Review of the tasks worked on or delivered by Team member to ensure quality & artifacts documentation is maintained systematically. Also helps in governance of best practices being followed.

Prepare reports (Both Delivery & Time Tracking) using ADO to reduce manual tracking & maintaining live status of all projects & assignments.

Apply project specific test strategy and develop test plan to cover functional and non-functional requirements to take into consideration contracts clauses in collaboration with technical experts.

Work closely with the Manager to test, implement new systems, and test the impact on workflow, new procedures, and controls.

Coach and train QA resources assigned to the project on QA best practices.

Establish, monitor, and maintain all appropriate quality programs and procedures, testing methodologies and test equipment to ensure compliance to specifications.

Track and share defined metrics to support and report on quality and project progress.

Report timely and accurate progress and risks to the project manager with proposed mitigation plans.

Coordinate resolution of all quality management issues including reporting on KPI's and corrective action plans

Review, develop and make recommendations to continuously improve QA processes to be followed within the department and in adherence to best practices.

Provide input to staffing plans at the team level to identify key / required skills.

Participation in client & requirement clarification calls.

Review defects and triage in defect tracking tool.

Work closely with other team members to identify their challenges (Both Ignite & EAS Application) and support in providing resolution.

Plan tasks in ADO & monitor them for timely updates & completion.

Additional Job Description
Succeeding as a Lead Manual QA, will require the following core qualifications and skills:
• Experience 6+ yrs of experience
• Education – BCA/BSc/BTech
• Understanding Test Requirements and analyzing the Application under Test (AUT)
• Sound knowledge of SQL using Oracle database.
• Strong knowledge of US or Canada Defined Benefits Domain knowledge. (Preferable)
• Sound knowledge of SDLC concepts.
• Hands-on experience on MS Excel.
• Effective business communication skills (oral and written).
