About You (Skills & Qualification Required)
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or master’s degree (BE, ME, B Tech, M Tech, MCA, MS)
Strong experience in any of the three: Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, .Net, Protractor, TestNG, Gherkins, SoapUI, Python
12-15 years of demonstrable experience in Automation & Performance Engineering
Strong experience in any of the three: Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, .Net, Protractor, testNG, Gherkins, SoapUI, Python
Experience in performance engineering including hands on with at least one tool (Neoload, Gatling, JMeter or LoadRunner)
Have worked and significantly contributed to automation using build CI/CD pipeline & test phases
Clear understanding of Agile & Kanban development approaches
Knowledge on DevOps processes and tools.
Good working experience with GIT and understanding on any one of these: Jenkins, TeamCity, and Azure DevOps
Good written & verbal communication skills
Good Analytical & Effective interpersonal skills
Should have ability to prioritize individual & team’s workload
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
Should be enthusiastic, determined to succeed & demonstrate 100% commitment
It would be great if you also have,
Understanding of Accessibility testing & tools
Stay abreast technically of new QA and testing technologies and best practices
working knowledge of AWS/Azure & SQL
Working on the Intellectual property domain.
What will you be doing in this role?
As a QA manager, you will lead the Quality teams focused on various Clarivate products. Hand-on first level management position, responsible for the management of quality engineering team including their deliverables, growth, and aspirations. Your team will be responsible for Quality Process and deliverables from QA point of view. You will be managing a team, with focus on Quality and high-performance culture to maximize efforts across teams. You will build knowledge, capacity, and capability within teams, promoting a culture of great quality practices and life-long learning. You are technology driven, comfortable in leading change, customer oriented, supportive and a good coach for the teams as well as leader of teams.
Will be responsible for,
Leading a team of 8-10 QA engineers & leaders and assisting in task deliveries, career progression & delivering as per organization’s manifesto
Mentoring the QA/SDET colleagues & provide the technical direction.
Partnering with Dev, DevOps, and delivery stakeholders to ensure that product quality is given highest priority during each delivery cycle
Overseeing and supporting creation and designing of test automation frameworks and Proof of concepts for latest tools and techniques
Result oriented and always looking for improvements in our way of working
Strong drive and energy level with ability to create a high performing working culture
