Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing 8+ Test Engineers and steering QA initiatives.
Meet the product quality standards and present the same to the Product Manager.
Improve the process of monitoring, reporting and managing test runs and test results.
Design, develop, review and execute Test Plans & Test Cases along with team specific QA members.
Implement functional/acceptance tests, integration tests, regression tests, performance tests, security tests in different parts of the product as necessary.
Write automation tests in Python and shell scripts for API and Data tests.
Build necessary Python frameworks to manage the building of new tests or adopt the necessary tools to build on top of.
Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years of relevant QA experience.
Should have managed QA’s with a team size of 5+.
Required Skills
Excellent management skills with an infectious positive attitude
Experience using Agile Project Management tools like JIRA
Passion for testing.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Experience adopting a variety of tools for performance tests (K6, Locust, JMeter, etc.), UI tests (Selenium, Playwright, etc.), API tests (Karate, etc.), data integrity tests, and security tests.
Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
