The Quality Assurance Lead role at Granicus is to drive our teams to produce excellent software.
You will manage a team of QA testers and enable their learning and growth.
You will focus on improving our processes and testing capabilities and ensure we deliver high quality products.
Essential functions:
Refine and improve our processes around QA and champion these processes across the scrum teams.
Define our testing strategy with a focus on automating as much as possible.
Drive the design and technology of our automated tests.
Use automation frameworks to develop automated test suites.
Perform exploratory manual testing.
Define metrics for QA success and report on these metrics to the broader team.
Manage your team’s goals, performance, training, and career path development.
Requirements:
Experience testing within an agile development process.
Experience using automation test frameworks such as Selenium, Ghost Inspector, Behave, Postman etc to develop automated end-to-end, integration and unit tests.
Knowledge and experience in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, etc).
Knowledge of database concepts (MySQL).
Proven leadership skills and ability to execute on projects.
Ability to mentor QA engineers of all levels.
Experience with developing and reporting on QA metrics.
Experience collaborating with all the different departments involved in developing and supporting a product including product management, development, operations and customer support.
