Key duties and responsibilities:
Plan, define and execute manual test plans and testcases against the systems under test to validate the acceptance criteria.
Coordinate the QA activities for our product releases.
Lead the continuous improvement of how we test our products and platforms.
Help build quality in from the beginning of the product development flow.
Work alongside Quality Engineers to help them determine the test automation approach.
Track defects and bugs using the defect tracking system, track resolution progress and validate resolutions once submitted.
Provide clear and concise test progress reporting.
Actively participate in User Story refinement meetings.
Actively participate in lessons learned sessions to help improve the QA process.
Experience and skills:
5+ years of QA experience working on complex software.
Strong Experience in QA best practices.
Good understanding of cloud (Azure) technologies.
Good knowledge of ADO Test Plans or similar test management tools.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and coordinate with distributed teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Proactiveness and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effort.
Ability to act on own initiative with a can-do attitude.
Ability to discuss required test scope with technical and non-technical team members.
Ability to work in a quickly changing environment.
Familiarity with iterative development practices like Scrum or Kanban.
Nice to have:
ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
Experience in IT in a Financial Services organization.
Automation experience using BDD and programming languages like C# or TS.
