Your most important task is to help your team deliver good software projects and platforms that the whole team is proud of. That can include the following tasks
Create tests to identify software problems
Analyse bugs and errors found during tests
Document results of tests for the software development team
Recommend improvements in software to enhance the user experience
Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance
Work closely with PMs, Developers, to make sure the tests run effectively and to ensure stability and performance
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Identify key KPIs for product quality
Requirements
Proven work experience in software development
Proven work experience in software quality assurance
High attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
General knowledge of web-based applications and software technology
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
Experience in azure and Automation testing
Experience in ETL testing and Performance Testing
Ability to perform in a team environment
Motivated self-starter with a high attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Proven working experience in software development
Good understanding of Agile and scrum practices
Good articulation and communication skills Both written and oral good Interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience as a QA analyst
Experience performing feature testing on multiple applications and platforms
Experience in writing, executing, testing SQL queries, and ETL processes
Experience in Automation testing, API testing
Experience is Performance testing using JMeter will be advantage
Exposure to the Microsoft BI stack including (Azure SQL, SQL Server, SQL queries, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI, SSRS)
Experience with Azure Dev Ops
Experience with data warehouse and/or BI environments
Experience with an Agile software methodology
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong analytical and problem-solving
