We are looking for an outstanding Test Automation Engineer to play a pivotal role in our technology management team. This is a great opportunity for Automation Tester to join a dynamic and vibrant team with an inclusive culture.
As part of a vibrant and inclusive team you’ll use your eye for detail and knowledge of designing and implementing test automation strategies as you create data driven tests. You will build REST APIs/Mobile/Web test methodologies (functional/non-functional) in high volume and frequency data testing. Be involved in the preparation of REST APIs/Mobile/Web Test Plans, designing REST APIs/Mobile/Web Test Cases, test scenarios, test scripts and maintain defects in internal bug tracking systems. You will also work with data engineers to develop test frameworks for REST APIs/Mobile/Web pipelines.
In addition to this, you will be involved in testing workflow processes, detect bugs through the queries, finding bad data. You will automate testing efforts by using tools and share test results
You will proactively identify risks and issues across the Dev, QA work streams, advise on increasing process maturity, help develop testing standards, automated testing frameworks, best practices, and processes.
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the project deliverables and will be reporting issues, progress, and risks in sprints, projects, and automation initiatives.
You will also be responsible in identifying risks and issues related to quality for the projects you’ll be working on, identifying the appropriate test scope based on the requirements and will be balancing changing priorities within an agile process.
To succeed in this role, you need to be self-motivated, able to operate in a fast-paced, agile environment and able to work with stakeholders of all levels. You’ll also bring the following technical skills:
Hands-on experience on various phases of testing, supporting UAT and securing the sign-offs.
5-8 years of experience in automated/manual testing on REST APIs, Mobile and Web applications.
Experience with testing frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Robo etc.
Professional experience in Integration, Functional, Regression, Data Quality, System Testing, Load Testing, UAT Testing, Black Box and GUI testing.
Experience smoke and sanity testing to support environment moves and Production Batch support.
Maintaining robust testing documentation and artifacts.
Experience in version control tools like Git, Stash, bitbucket with exposure to CICD.
Strong experience conducting system integration and working with test/development teams to build automated test cases.
Familiarity to Agile ways of working and working knowledge of Jira.
Basic SQL skills are desirable.
PyCharm IDE or any IDE for automation scripting
