Should have a minimum 4 - 6 years of experience in test automation and having hand on with different automation tools – Selenium, Appium, Rest-assured, ReadyAPI, Jira, ALM, Etc.
Should have handled data driven, key word driven automation framework
Exposure to Karate or Serenity BDD automation framework
Should be hands on with Java programming and having strong knowledge on object oriented programming
Contribute to the design & architect the strategy of automation projects
Good knowledge of usage of ALM and JIRA
Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices
Assist in on-going process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting is effective and efficient
Work with teams on the automation Strategy and the Tool Kit Selection where necessary
Perform code reviews, verify coding standards are being met
Has exposure to In-Sprint test automation
Must be flexible to support handover to the onshore team
Work with peer discipline leads in Development, QA, and Project Management
Should be able to perform manual regression testing of UI, when desired
Experience in CI Tools like Jenkins
Experience in Database testing and knowledge of SQL queries
Experience in GIT version tools and build tools like Gradle or Maven, is desirable
Excellent oral and written communication.
Customer facing experience is a must
