Responsibilities
• Responsible for Testing SOA (service oriented architecture) based Applications using Parasoft SOA Test
• Responsible for analyzing the business requirements and develop test plan & test scripts based on business objectives and design.
• Responsible for Web Services and Message Based Testing.
• Responsible for fully automating the Regression Suites for Applications using SOA Test.
• Responsible for Defect and Status Reporting
• Responsible for supporting End to End testing efforts
• Provide support and guidance on SOA Test to other team members to aid in their testing, write java functions that integrate with SOA Test as required to streamline testing, and build out a generic framework to simplify testing processes.
• Support the SDM automation work for the Payments Technology group.
• Also in Bank’s agile transformation phase, meet the critical regression automation need for each sprint.
Requirements
Foundational skills
• Candidate should have in depth experience in SOA and Web Services (Service Testing, Middleware Testing, Messaging Validation and Virtualization), knowledge of industry standards, proactive planning and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
•-5-7 years of proven, hands-on experience in API testing using SoapUI, SOATest, or equivalent
•-Good understanding of XML, SOAP, MQ, WSDL, JSON Technologies
•-Experience working on other SOA testing tools
•-Experience in Functional Testing, including writing detailed test plans and test scripts
•-Proven experience with JIRA
•-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies, and systems
•-Full lifecycle development methodology, SOA Testing Concepts and Methodology
•-Strong at Software Testing Concepts.
•-Excellent communication and documentation skills
•-Detail-oriented and persistent, able to drive complicated tasks through to completion.
•-Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
•-Individual contributor, capable of self-directing daily tasks
•-Seeks out best practices to find opportunities for improvements in Test Execution Process
Desired skills
Web Services Automation using equivalent like SOA Test/Rational Integration Tester/Ready API, SOA & Web Services, Web Methods, XML, SOAP, MQ and WSDL
Technologies, JIRA, writing detailed test plans and test scripts
Working knowledge: JDBC, SQL, UFT, RIT
Secondary Expertise
Functional Knowledge of Banking / Payments Domain
Agile project lifecycle knowledge.
