Job Description

You will be responsible for overall test planning, test artifacts creation– scenarios, cases, scripts for e2e features and test execution for Salesforce features/requirements.
You will work closely with the developers to complete different types of testing on Salesforce clouds – functional, e2e, acceptance, integration testing etc.
You will lead all the phases of the STLC on small and large implementations – from requirement analysis to test design to execution.
You support the business in creating and executing the user acceptance testing.
You follow up and support the go live and aftercare of the system changes.
You investigate problems in search for the root cause and long-term solution(s) within your areas of responsibility.
You collaborate with the other IT teams for Salesforce interface business issues / requirements.
You will perform activities such as Requirements Review, Test Strategy Review and Test Case Reviews from time to time.
Ensure all deadlines are met when it comes to submitting bug reports.

Key responsibilities:

Analyse user stories and use cases/ requirements for validity and feasibility.

Identifying the test cases that will be developed.

Writing test cases that are clear, concise, and easy to understand.

Creating test data and test scenarios that will be used in the test cases.

Identifying the expected results for each test case

Reviewing and validating the test cases

Updating the requirement traceability matrix (RTM) to map requirements to test cases.

Defect management and triage

Planning and estimation of test deliverables

Experience in writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.

Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.

Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.

Document different test procedures to see which ones were most effective at locating issues.

About the successful candidate


Preferred skills and experience:

Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and working experience.

Has minimum 3 years experience in Manual/ Automation testing or Business analysis on Salesforce projects.


Must have skills:

Has configuration experience of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud.

Salesforce Admin certification is a must.

Can work independently and set priorities - demonstrating excellent organizing, planning and problem-solving skills.

Can work amidst ambiguity and with changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Very Limited travel involved.


Nice to have skills:

Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Einstein, Experience Cloud, Field Service and B2B Commerce are an asset.

Any salesforce cloud certifications are nice to have.

Has excellent analytical skills and is able to present an analysis concisely to key stakeholders.

Has worked within the agile framework, knows how to participate in all agile ceremonies and represent the Business function.

Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presentation.

Willingness to mentor new team members.
