Job Description

Responsibilities:
Independently utilize innovative test methodologies to develop test plans/strategies for owned features.
Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
Create and enhance automation tests and test tools
Develop effective test cases that follow the automation design put in place.
Add to performance, security and scalability testing efforts
Write specialized testing tools for use in testing our software platform

Required Skills:
1–5 years of experience as Developer or SDET.
Strong understanding of Software Testing methodologies with strong attention to detail
Passion for Programming in general & problem solving.
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
Hands on coding in any programming language(Java, Go Preferrable)
Good experience in UI & web services testing and automation
Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools, test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr Scale
Experience with Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
Experience with one or more database technology or queuing technologies- Postgres, Mongo, Redis, RabbitMQ etc
Good working experience in performance testing of distributed system
Good working knowledge of Linux or Shell commands.
Knowledge on the DevOps/Kubernetes is a plus.
