Responsibilities:
Write python code to automate functional, integration and end to end tests using Robot framework.
Creatively design, and develop functional tests for security applications and services.
Identify and communicate must-have test coverage for critical functionality.
Analyze, debug, and report test results from CI/CD environments using Jenkins.
Optimize test pipelines to reduce feedback cycle.
Ability to investigate and debug difficult problems.
Lead test stability resolution efforts for tests in production and non-production environments.
Expand our existing test automation framework and test coverage.
Identify and implement improvements to the process to make it more efficient.
Take initiative to recommend new approaches and processes that will improve our quality, productivity, and velocity.
Requirements:
7-9 years of experience in test development using Java/Python
Experience with API Framework
Passion for coding, scripting and having an eye to identify the problem's root causes to deliver efficient solutions
Strong experience developing test automation using open source tools and frameworks like Robot Framework, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG
Experience working on Cloud services like GCP and AWS Cloud
Exposure to Microservices architecture
Enthusiasm to learn new technology and adapt with high velocity
Extremely organized in keeping track and documenting testing progress and results
Expertise in test-driven development, developing different levels of automated tests, such as unit tests, functional tests, integration tests, system tests, or performance/load test
Expertise in test-driven development, developing during build/deployment of microservices
Excellent communication skills.
Preferred:
Automated web-testing and proficiency with Selenium or similar tools
Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JSON, XPath
Knowledge of RESTful web service design principles
Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and reusable components
Knowledge of AWS services and/or Cloud-based methodologies
Knowledge of Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Docker is a big plus
