About the Role:
HR Technology is looking for a QA SDET Engineer responsible for building QA test automation / frameworks and ensuring the highest-level quality for the applications built for our clients and stakeholders.
Skills Required
5-7 years of hands-on experience working on Backend QA Testing and Automation, having strong scripting skills preferably in Java
Well versed with backend API automation, tools/framework development necessary for the same (E.g., Rest Assured).
Experience in UI automation, preferably using Java/Selenium
Passionate around automating end-to-end testing including frontend/backend applications
Good knowledge about testing concepts, framework design, OOPs
Comfortable with databases, relational and non-relational, able to write queries involving complex joins. Etc.
Strong working knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration and regression
The candidate is expected to contribute in a hands-on fashion on the project as well as take ownership of various QA deliverables.
Ability to learn new technology and processes, and is expected to develop architectural/system level understanding
Ability to apply innovative approaches to build a comprehensive Testing and automation approach
Excellent interpersonal skills and professional approach
Desired /Good to have Skills
Knowledge in Mongo DB / NoSQL database
Experience developing Backend automation/frameworks based on Rest Assured, Karate framework etc.
Agile software development experience, preferably Scrum
Setting up/Use of Continuous Integration tools and practices
