We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester with expertise in AWS Lambda, S3 Triggers, Postman, and proficiency in testing Telerik components. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions through the design and execution of automated test scripts. This position requires a strong background in automation testing, AWS services, and a keen understanding of testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Automated Testing:
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for software applications, with a focus on AWS Lambda functions, S3 triggers, and Telerik components.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
2. AWS Integration:
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Utilize AWS Lambda and S3 triggers to simulate real-world scenarios and validate system functionality.
3. Postman Testing:
- Create and execute API test scripts using Postman to ensure the reliability and accuracy of API endpoints.
- Collaborate with developers to define and implement API test scenarios and validate data integrity.
4. Telerik Component Testing:
- Design and execute test cases for Telerik components to ensure the responsiveness, usability, and compatibility of the user interface.
- Collaborate with the development team to address any issues identified during testing.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Communicate effectively with team members to report test progress, results, and any issues encountered.
6. Test Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-Minimum of 4 years of experience in these areas.
-Proven experience in automated testing with a focus on AWS Lambda, S3 triggers, and Telerik components.
-Technically strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java) for test automation
-Experience with Postman for API testing.
-Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
-Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
-Effective communication and collaboration skills.
-Experience with various test management solutions for both manual and automated tests.
Preferred Qualifications:
-AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
-Experience with other testing tools and frameworks.
-Knowledge of performance testing and security testing concepts.
