As a Senior Software Engineer with Test Skills, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable software applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate on the implementation of comprehensive test strategies, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This is a hands-on role that requires the candidate to work in a team following a Scaled Agile development methodology. You must be a self-starter, delivery-focused, and possess a broad set of technology skills.
Demonstrate technical expertise and leadership in software development and testing.
Design and develop scalable and maintainable software applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance engineers, to understand software requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
Lead the implementation of comprehensive test strategies, including unit, integration, and system testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and test scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
Conduct thorough testing of software applications, analyze test results, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting any issues or areas for improvement.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development and testing.
Proven experience of working on mulitple products in the deliver of both features and tests.
The ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues in a cross- functional environment
Proven track record of successfully delivering software with a broad mix of languages, technologies and platforms
Experience working with Agile at Scale, Lean and Continuous Delivery approaches such as Continuous Integration, Test-Driven Development and Infrastructure as Code
Experience with cloud native software architectures
Proven experience in Security driven design practices and the remediation of SAST/DAST findings
Experience in CI/CD and Devops practices including the use of Quality Gates to maintain high levels of code
Strong Self-starter and involved squad contributor
Mandatory Skills
Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in software development and testing.
Proficiency in programming languages such as MEAN Stack, and experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypres, Playwright).
Solid understanding of software testing principles, techniques, and tools, including unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, NUnit) and mocking frameworks (e.g., Mockito, Moq).
Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., ADO, Github, Docker).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
