Responsibilities:
Coordinating testing activities with the QA Manager and Product Managers
Review test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure coverage based on requirements
Conduct testing to ensure products perform accordingly to user requirements and within established guidelines
Test case design, maintenance, and validation
Periodic review of the requirements to assure they are fully up to date - no blanks, placeholders or unanswered open questions
Assure that stories are properly linked across all teams
In conjunction with product and business stakeholders, prepare and finalize use cases for client facing features
Drive product improvements
Help troubleshoot issues and assist stakeholders with issue analysis
Working closely with on-site and remote development resources in several countries
Collaborate on and learn new technologies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited, four-year university or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance in web-based technologies
Strong understanding of the SDLC and testing methodologies
Proficiency with issue tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
Experience with functional, compatibility, integration, performance, and stress testing
Experience creating test cases and testing documentation from requirements/specifications
Strong problem solving and critical thinking capabilities
Plus if you have previous working experience in business analyst role
Plus if you have experience with SQL
Plus if you have experience with programming languages like JavaScript, Node and Java and/or scripting languages like Python and BASH
