As a security test analyst, you will perform security assessments of web applications, mobile applications and software systems to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Perform Comprehensive security assessments of web applications and mobile applications
• Utilize Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) methodologies.
• Knowledge on tools Burpsuite, Acunetix, OWASP ZAP etc., to assess application security testing
• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle, including code reviews and security assessments.
• Develop and maintain detailed security testing documentation and reports, providing clear vulnerability findings and recommendation for remediation.
• Stay up to date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities and industry trends and actively contribute to the enhancement of security testing methodologies
Educational Qualification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field
Must Have
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in security testing with a strong background in software development
• Knowledge in software development using languages such as Java, Python, Javascript
• Strong understanding of web application security concepts and principles
• Knowledge of security testing methodologies, including SAST and DAST
• Assist in the development and implementation of security testing methodologies and standards
• Proficiency with Security testing tools and frameworks
• Strong Analytical and Problem solving skills
