• Possess a strong understanding of writing and executing test for both mobile and web applications.
• Validate features with focus on the server-side validation at the API level.
• Validate API functionality for both web and mobile clients.
• Develop a robust strategy for the new features in our financial application.
• Continuously monitor and refine the quality strategy.
• Go beyond bug identification; understand the root cause and escalate the defect.
• Clearly outline the steps in a defect report.
• Analyze requirements for gaps and identify potential design flaws that may lead to future bugs.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers, providing assistance in story creation.
Minimum Skills and Experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of manual testing and at least 1+years of mobile testing experience.
• Hands on experience with technologies such as Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter.
• Testing experience on Cloud platform.
• Proficient in JavaScript or JAVA and be able to contribute to automation.
• Strong understanding of RESTful Service.
• Experience with SQL.
• Solid understanding of QA fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration environment (Jenkins)
• Knowledge of log debugging tools like Charles.
• Experience with Agile software development process and related tools.
Desired Experience
• Previous experience in Financial Services experience.
