Roles & Responsibilities:
Should be able to understand the User stories and create exhaustive Test cases to ensure the functionality is robust.
Understand and Follow QA process (Scrum) and ensure minimal bugs/issues are reported by the QA once the implementation is done.
Involved in Manual and Automation Testing of API & UI Test
Must be able to draft and document test plan , test scripts for each iteration
Must have experience with Triage and Defects Tracking to closure
Verify the fixes and new implementations provided by the development team in a timely fashion.
Write ATPs for the test cases/workflows provided by the QA Member/Functional Engineer (FE) for the implementation in the product.
Work with the QA team members and other counter parts on the release testing.
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.
Must have good communication skills (oral / written) to communicate efficiently with different stakeholders and Customer to discuss project topics.
Requirements
Strong experience in API and UI Testing
Work experience with Postman/SOAPUI tool for testing the API’s
Expertise in performing Functional Testing
Must understand the source to target mapping provided by BA
Good understanding of PL/SQL or DB Concepts
Work with test/defect management tool in JIRA.
Good to have: Automation testing (Selenium).
