Role Description:
The person in this role will have extensive technical, people and process skill sets that enable us to successfully deliver on this initiative. The position requires 6 plus years of experience in Database Testing and ETL Testing.
Requirements:
Should have database/ETL testing experience
Good knowledge on testing process and test management tools
Resource should have strong Oracle SQL skills. Able to write complex SQL queries
Resource should have UNIX experience.
Good to have database automation experience
Experience/knowledge on excel macros
Agile and Kanban experience
Should know RTC and Jira.
Good to have Python automation experience. (Beginner to Intermediate only).
Good to have Big data experience (Beginner to Intermediate only).
DB Developers with strong DB understanding can also apply if interested in moving into Testing roles
Main Duties and Responsibilities
6+ years of experience in professional software testing
Responsible for the definition of data related smoke, sanity, system, integration, functional, non-functional, positive and negative test cases for one or more applications in accordance with the test strategy.
Creates automatable and regression test cases that contribute to user acceptance level testing.
Executes automated test scripts and manual test cases.
Reports and tracks defects in a timely fashion
Verifies issues/problems raised by test teams
Documents Test strategy, test cases test results diligently.
Good to have automation skills
Good to have – Python coding/debugging skills (Beginner to Intermediate only)
Good to have Big data experience (Beginner to Intermediate only).
Writing complex SQL queries is a must. Candidate must be very good in advanced SQL concepts.
Responsible for quality testing including functional and UAT and regression, exit and entry level criteria and QA sign off activities before every production release from department playbook
Proactively manage project timelines and incident resolutions.
