Job Description

4-6 years of industry experience in Performance testing
Strong in working with Loadrunner/Jmeter/Neoload for script creation and execution.
Hands on Experience in setting up the tool and configuring agents in load generators
Hands on experience is using developer tools & fiddler.
Hands on Experience in using Jira or other Test Management tools
Excellent hands-on skills in Loadrunner/Jmeter/Neoload using SAP, Web and Multimedia, Rich Internet Applications, Service Oriented Architecture (e.g. Web Services, CXF) protocol bundles.
Experience of delivering at least 4 projects in the area of software performance testing for web applications.
Software Development/Testing experience on Windows and Unix platforms of Web applications
Hands on experience in performance test results analysis and identifying key performance bottlenecks.
Experience on Performance test analysis using LoadRunner / JMeter or any other similar performance test tool.
Experience on Performance monitoring using Perfmon/Nmon.
Experience in working on multiple projects concurrently.
Good attention to detail to ensure test artifacts and processes are accurate.
Exposure to test reporting with good clarity and no ambiguity.
Proficient in working with Jira or other Test Management tools
Experience in developing test artifacts e.g. Test Plans, Test Cases & Bug Reporting.
Exposure to Agile Methodology.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint.
Fluent Business English (verbal & written) skills.
Experienced in an Onshore/Offshore model, ability to work independently and with a team.
Excellent Communication, Analytical and Problem solving skills.

PREFERRED / GOOD TO HAVE
4-6 years of Performance Engineering experience required.
Hands on experience with Performance Testing tool(i.e.Jmeter, Loadrunner, Neoload)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to interpret test results and identify potential performance issues
Architectural background focused on mid-tier services, client front ends and databases.
Proficient in understanding the testing activities and approaches in the different development methodologies (Agile, Iterative and Waterfall).
Hands on experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or Appdynamics

ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create performance test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, test execution, results analysis and provide insight into potential performance issues and deliverables related to performance testing activities.
Provide updates on testing progress, lead a team of Performance Engineers to clearly define test plans, tasks, schedule, and execution of performance testing activities, and identify - performance issues prior to - reaching production.
Partner with development teams to understand application changes and potential performance concerns and issues when creating test scenarios.
Communicate and help remediate performance issues observed during testing.
Work with other members in the IT organization to understand and achieve objectives.
Develop high-quality performance test engineering principles, test strategies, and best practices
Provide input and direction on continuous process and procedure improvements to mitigate risk and enhance performance engineering processes and standards.
Lead, mentor and coach QA staff on testing best practices and efforts.
