Your Role:
Assess technical practicality of testing solution, designs in an array of technology platforms.
• Create automation solution that supports the product and engineering road map.
• Script solutions are required to be scalable, high performant, maintainable and meet high quality standards.
• Supports and maintains the defect management process.
• Identify opportunities to implement test automation.
• Adhere to and support standard QA procedures and methodology.
• Development of testing and automation best practices.
• Development of automation test scripts with Python, Robot framework (or) building ground-up with any open-source tools.
• Should have hands on API and Performance based testing.
• Knowledge on AWS preferred.
• Strong Knowledge of building tests for Rest API.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD integration.
• Strong knowledge on STLC and SDLC- Documentation, Test strategy, planning and test methods.
• Experience in shell script/Linux/basic PostgreSQL preferred.
• Participate and contribute on all team activities such as sprint planning, daily scrums and retrospectives.
• Work closely with developers and business owners to define testing needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
About You:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 6+ years of hands-on software test development experience, including both functional and non-functional test experience within an agile cross-functional team environment.
• 3+ years of experience in test automation
• 2+ years of experience with Selenium based test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework
• 2+ years of programming experience using Python
• 1+ years of experience in developing database queries in Oracle/PostgreSQL test data management
• Good understanding of Project Management and Test Management tools such as JIRA and Xray
• Experience with AWS is a plus
• Experience with git is a plus
• Knowledge of financial industry is a plus
• Strong background in QA processes, the Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively in a global team environmentn skills to support multiple teams in a matrix environment
• Self-motivated, quick learner who enjoys a challenge, yet rewarding environment
