Working within Product Engineering, your mission will be to play an active role in identifying and testing key features of the product. Apart from building automation test scripts, you should be able to develop well-planned and structured test plans/cases. You should also be able to mentor, guide and train other engineers. You should be able to evaluate the product requirements, time limitations and system limitations when developing automation tests and be up to date on new technologies and software testing practices.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and prioritize automation test activities
Plan and execute automation and performance testing
Product functionality, robustness and scale testing
Prepare automation scripts
Coordinate with the product owner and product development team to achieve optimum automation
Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
Suggest automated software test procedures
Develop,maintain,execute,andtroubleshootautomationsoftwareissues
Monitoring assurance metrics and process results
Assist directly and indirectly in the hiring process and development of technical talent
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS or equivalent experience
4 to 6 years of professional automation testing experience
Complete understanding of automation systems and databases
Basic knowledge of scripting and other related procedures
Expertise in automation testing tools like Selenium and Cucumber
Experience with Cypress and REST Assure
Understanding of testing protocols
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Automation framework development experience
Good to have
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good time management and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and manage project deadlines
Working experience in AWS, GCP
Contact Center or Telecom domain experience
Web technologies, testing for secure, PCI DSS, GDPR compliant deployment
CI-CD, Code coverage integration and automated testing and deployment
