Role Responsibilities:
Should develop solutions for test automation need - be it process automation or test automation.
Understand the areas where test automation would help.
Should have worked with multiple automation tools, very strong in JAVA.
Should be able to guide the team in creating and reviewing test automated scripts.
Should understand DevOps Concepts.
Strategy
Should be able to device scope and approach for testing a requirement.
Should be able to present it to the PO and SM and get it approved.
Business
Understand the business requirement clearly and Raise clarifications as applicable.
Identify Regression impact and ensure its working as expected.
Identify suitable data sets for the test cases under execution.
Processes
Log software product defects and track it to closure.
Adhere to the company’s compliance policy.
Follow the Organisation’s QA process, Testing standards and Controls.
Ensure test cases, evidences are all available in Test Management tools.
People and Talent
Demonstrate team work and collaborative efforts always.
Assist the Automation practice in bringing efficiency.
Risk Management
Should be able to highlight and escalate risks / impediments to the SM.
Governance
Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders to track deliverables during test planning, preparation and execution phases as applicable.
Participate in project meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project in relation to the test quality.
Our Ideal Candidate
9+ years of experience in testing for Banking / Payments domain.
Should be well versed with test automaton skills.
Should have worked extensively on Framework development.
