Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute the end-to-end manual testing process for data products/ data lake and Tableau BI dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
• Conduct thorough testing of data pipelines, ETL processes, and Tableau BI dashboards
• Perform data validation and verification to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members.
• Stay updated on industry best practices related to data testing and Power BI.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process.
Experience needed
• Expertise in manual testing methodologies with 7-9 years of experience.
• Proficient in testing data products, data lake and applications within the Tableau BI dashboards.
• Strong understanding of data quality, integrity, and validation processes.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL for data querying and validation.
• Extensive experience in creating, executing, and maintaining test plans and test cases.
• Skillful in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through the entire testing lifecycle.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
