As an engineer in test validation, the candidate should participate in defining test strategy, developing test cases, writing scripts, test execution and defect reporting and validation. Contribute to develop test solutions. Understand new technologies/requirements and create tests. Cloud experience is preferred.
Responsibility / Tasks:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
Establish methodologies, standards and procedures for requirements analysis, test plan preparation, test procedure development and execution, installations and documentation of results and reporting.
Testing experience on Windows and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS or Ubuntu)
Container-based test experience is a plus.
Cloud Experience with one or more of the big 3 (AWS, Azure, GCP)
GCP preferred.
Understanding networks and network troubleshooting tools like Wireshark is a plus.
Experience testing meters, IoT devices, RF, Wi-Fi, and wireless devices is a plus.
Experience testing APIs, web services and micro-services
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational DBMS
No-SQL experience is a plus.
Experience with Kafka or other message busses
Experience with an API gateway is a plus.
Responsible and independent team member developing test suits and identifying ways to increase deliverable quality.
Experience working in a Scrum or Kanban environment.
Experience in scripting language like Python is a plus
Experience using any automated test tools is good to have (Robot Framework, Cucumber, Selenium)
Relevant qualification - B. E (CS, IT, ECE), B.Tech (CS, IT, ECE), M.Tech, MCA
Soft skills:
Must be a good team player with Good communication skills.
Experienced and comfortable working on a globally distributed team
Open to work inHybrid with 4 days working
Expereince range - 4 to 6.5 years
